DIY Table Saw - Fence (part2)

I improved how the circular saw is fixed using T-nuts. Also made a fence, with a simple but effective locking system.
DIY Table Saw - Base and sled (part1)
Просмотров 107 тыс.7 лет назад
Hi everyone ! This is not the final version of this table saw, a lot needs to be changed (how the saw is attached mainly !) A "part 2" is coming, with improvements, a fence, a few sleds probably. Stay tuned !
The porous sound absorber inside does not improve the performance of the cabinet in any way. Its job is to absorb 6-8 kHz vibrations.
I just wanna know what kind of amp you used to into this thing. Any chance of getting more precise measurements on your build too?
Hotdog that puppy looks good! I've been considering knockin' together something like that, but can't decide on what size/how many drivers to use. Leaning toward a 1 15" ported cabinet around 3 cubic feet, but the 2 12" cab here makes a strong case for itself. Rogue LX406 six-string pro model Peavey MAXX112 60 watt combo
So i want to put 4 8 ohm speakers in my cab in parallel to get 2 ohms for my head which outputs 500 watts at 2 ohms does that mean the speakers i need to be rated for 500 watts each or do i get 200 watt speakers or something?
Im planning to DIY my amp cab using 2x12 Eminence Kappa Pro 12'. Di we need a tweeter. Can u suggest one
I need this for my Eminance 18" woofer!!
I had to listen a few times to be sure, but I think that's - 0:33 Into The Space Age - 0:41 For Marcia - 0:51 O Fortuna - 1:02 Insider - 1:12 Hymn Of The Aten - 1:29 Map Of An Imaginary Place Greetings, fellow Amplifier fan.
Wow! Excellent work
It's a great crazy job! Congrats! Would you share your measurements? Thanks bye the way
Awesome work. ¿How did you calculate the dimensions?
oh man, I'm doing spekaers for 20 years and can you sime advise. Make new cab. But first where are the reinforcing beams? Back and front should be glued not mounted by screws in bass soeaker there is much more presure than in guitarcsoeaker. Speakers should nit be connected in series.
I'm about 1 more session away from completing my 2x12 bass cab build. I've intentionally gone for a beat up/grungy look to hide the fact that my carpentry skills aren't as flash as yours haha. Excellent work!
soundless cab
Great build !!
Beautiful build, very good attention to small details. 2 things I would do... Wire your woofers in parallel instead of series, woofers don't behave the same series vs parallel in very low frequencies. Reason why subs never get wired in series. Second, you should at least brace front baffle against back one. Doesn't matter how thick the plywood is, at this surface area with a couple of hundreds of watts the baffles are going to flex and waste energy at low hz's. Simple truss would do. :)
Woodglut plans are awesome!
Some great ideas, thank you.
Any measurements? Freq response graph or any other specs?
Nice job! Instead of soldering the quick-connects to the internal wiring, I would have simply soldered the wiring directly to the speakers.
REally nice cab. I like the where you used the dowel rods. That should help a bit with the lower freqs. I have to admit that I wouldn't have thought of using "Alvin and the chipmunks" as my shop tunes.
Excellent craftsmanship!
that was the Radio New Vegas playlist sped up in the background.
Wow! Looks nice. I'm just finding your RUclips site while looking at different ways to build a 2x12 bass cab. What is the final weight with the speakers. I'm using an Ampeg 4x10 Heritage cab right now, and trying to go lighter. Also, have you made any more of these for friends or to sell? Thanks
let me buy one!
Sweet!
practical and terrible.
Thanks, mine was missing the quick start manual and I wasn't completely sure about the snub cable.
Hi there. I have questions... I wanna make a cabinet like that. Can i use with processor? I think i can use processor as an head amp. Is that bass speakers or full range? Thx.
the end is may favorite part. YAAY 😂
This is the most worthless video I've ever watched on RUclips if you're not going to explain what you're doing you could at least slow it down enough so a person could see what you're doing I watched it six times trying to figure out how your lock system worked and no nothing except for how to cut a hole in a piece of board and put a nut in it
Avesome job, the tolex job was perfect! What volume are you working with? Impendannce? length/width on the bass port? I would like to build something similar maybe 1x12" though.
Which eminence dou you use it?

This was almost too good of a build.. if there's such a thing
Lepo je što smo videli paletu tvog alata ali ne vidim razlog za korišćenjem blažujke i oslabljivanje sastava na osnovi?
i wonder the name of the part that at the back of the cab connecting to the amp, anyone know?
so touching for an excellent video
👍
I've watched you working on this table, it's very detailed work and accurateness, I got an idea how to check the accurateness in cutting straight, and corners. I thought of making a bench made of angle bars and wooden slats from scraps.-
Hi. How much did You spend?
Wow .Great JOB.
How you can expect people to understand and enjoy watching an instructional video in fast forward like that is beyond reasoning !!
nice work bro..btw,did you added some paint or other finish for the metal? if you didn't,how to protect it from rust, especially in the welded part? thx for your answer bro🙏🙏
Very nice work!👍🏻👍🏻 Do you have a building plan?
Whoever you are, you’re a genius. I am in total awe of your skills
what? lol
Wow
the craftmanship is very good, but what about speakers and the whole project?
I thought it was really cool, before… then I saw what it was being used for… and I frickin’ love it! 👏👏
God bless you and your family 💛
